Aesthetically, it's unique. Functionally you're playing to greens with the same specification as the greens on the golf course, off the best mats, we have been able to source (and we've tried a fair few), using the best quality range-standard balls that we can buy. And to the side we've a large putting green, along with a pitching and bunker practice area, because located to the rear of the shop is the heart of the Academy.

Robert Lister, our resident PGA Golf Professional, is a born teacher and, along with his two assistants, he has the finest computerised teaching aid available - the A-Star System.

Housed in its own state-of-the-art room, and complemented by the Dead Solid Golf System, every part of your swing can be photographed, analysed, compared to a myriad of professional swings and recorded, both on to CD retained at the Academy, and onto VHS video for you to watch and analyse at home. The computer is able to detect swing angles, club face position at impact, and can be used to correct any part of the swing technique. As an aid to buying new clubs or, indeed, having a custom set made, it can be used to match your swing to the correct model of club.
