SALES MANAGER

Ramside Estates Ltd is looking to recruit an experienced Sales Manager to develop the business for Ramside Hall Hotel.

As the Sales Manager, you will be responsible for maximising the hotels revenue by proactively driving the sales for both bedrooms and conference.  You will visit prospective and existing clients, building and maintaining relationships, to promote the hotels and increasing market share of the business. You will also have a sound knowledge and understanding of conference and bedroom agents.

You will implement strategies to drive the business forward, hold regular client events and attend local and national exhibitions.  You will work closely with the conference sales team, assisting with the training and development of new and existing staff to reach their full potential.

This is a demanding but highly rewarding job, and the successful candidate must have worked within a hotel as Sales Manager with a proven sales background in achieving results.

PASTRY CHEF

We are looking for an experienced Pastry Chef to join the kitchen brigade of our 4 star hotel.

This role requires a strong Pastry Chef with key pastry skills who is creative has flair, and genuinely enthusiastic and passionate about food. You will be confident running your own section and will be working with fresh produce on a daily basis. You will be preparing desserts for the main restaurant, weddings and functions.

This is a demanding role that would suit an experienced pastry chef looking for the next step in their career.

Typical week worked 5 days out of 7, salary negotiable depending on experience.

Please note: we do not provide staff accommodation.

CHEF DE PARTIE

We are looking for a Chef de Partie to work within the kitchens of this privately owned 4 star hotel. Duties will be to prepare fresh quality food for our Rib Room Steak House and Grill. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to build a reputation for themselves within our recently refurbished restaurant.

As Chef de Partie you will be motivated, eager to learn, and genuinely passionate about food and cooking. Previous experience is essential and candidates will need to be able to maintain consistently high standards and cope within a high pressured kitchen environment. Candidates must be enthusiastic, flexible and committed.

It is a very busy establishment and is popular venue for banquets and weddings so experience of working in a high paced environment is an advantage

CATERING MANAGER

 We are looking for an experienced catering manager to join our team at Ramside Golf Club.

As Catering Manager you will be responsible for a small team and have proven experience leading and managing your team’s performance.

You will be responsible for; menu development,  cost controls, food purchasing, increasing revenue sales and must hold a level 2 Food Hygiene certificate.

You will have exceptional customer service skills, and help create a truly wonderful experience for both our members and guests.

The golf clubhouse also hosts private functions and events therefore previous events experience would be an advantage.

This is a challenging but rewarding role, and you will be offered a competitive salary and great benefits.

This is a full time role that will involve weekends and evenings.

We do not offer staff accommodation.
