Sunday Lunches

Ramside Hall Hotel specialises in Sunday lunch.  Served in the Rib Room Steakhouse & Grill from noon until 3.00 pm (last orders) A superb menu offering an excellent choice of starters, main courses (Durham beef and steak on the menu), home-made desserts.   Simply the best Sunday lunch in Durham.

Also served throughout the day in Pembertons Rotisserie & Carvery open from noon until 10.00 pm.   Several roasts including the Sunday special roast pork with crispy crackling.  Vast array of fresh food on offer, large Yorkshire Puddings with rich roast gravy. 

AFTERNOON TEA

Light lunches, snacks, sandwiches and afternoon teas are available in the delightful atmospheric Main Bar.    This sumptuous bar and lounge area serves food from noon until 6.00 pm.   Enjoy afternoon tea and a glass of champagne will musing over the caricatures of famous folk on the bar walls.

Private Dining

We offer a superb private dining experience.   Having enjoyed your pre dinner cocktail and canapes you will be seated at immaculately dressed tables and enjoy a memorable experience.   We offer private dining in our Boardrooms 8 to 18 persons, in the Green Room for up to 30 and in the Fountain Room for 60 persons.    Menus, drinks, wines, flowers, colours can all be tailored to your requirements.  Larger number for banquets up to 450 persons can be catered for within our banqueting suites.

Rib Room Steakhouse & Grill

Come and enjoy the extra special ambiance of the Rib Room Steakhouse & Grill.    Open for lunch and dinner every day offering an extensive brasserie style menu where Durham steaks are the house special.     Quality meats are well matured for 28 - 32 days in the on view "Meat Locker".    Make your selection and the steak will be cooked to succulent perfection in the brand new kitchens.   The menu is complemented by 150+ fine wines to suit all tastes and superb service.     One of the finest dining experiences in the County of Durham.   We have certainly "raised the steaks" in hotel dining.
