The Ramside Farmhouse, built in the early 1800s, is an oasis of calm, surrounded by the Ramside Golf Course, and provides an ideal retreat for a multitude of users. Great for Golfers, Wonderful for Wedding guests, Cracking for Corporate, Brilliant for BBQs, and Fantastic for Families, its really whatever you want it to be. With five bedrooms sleeping up to ten people, a delightful farmhouse kitchen and a relaxing lounge, the farmhouse is let out on a sole occupancy basis.

It has all the facilities of a modern house with washing machine, drier, dishwasher, fridge and freezers and a traditional Aga cooker, and self catering is the name of the game, although the facilities of Ramside Hall Hotel are just a few hundred yards away for those wanting the easy life, and historic Durham City a mere 3 miles. Outside, there is a delightful raised patio area with great views over the golf course, garden and what used to be a victorian walled garden and orchard, and now grassed.

The original farmhouse pond is also a feature of this area. For the active, golf is of course the number one choice, and preferential rates are available for farmhouse guests. A popular local footpath also runs adjacent to the house, and offers pleasant walks in both directions. Whilst intended primarily to be a self catering let, by prior arrangement a housekeeping service will be available, and we can also supply drinks and provisions for your arrival upon request. Continental breakfast items are supplied.
