It wont be until you stand on the first tee that you'll appreciate what lies ahead but our hole by hole course tour may whet the appetite for your visit to The Ramside.
The playing tips given on a hole by hole basis are also contained in our Course Planners on sale at the golf reception.
The Course is Parkland in nature and features 15 water features over its 27 holes, many of which feature in your round. Many of the 50,000 trees planted before construction are growing strongly and give the course real maturity.
- The Princes Course measures 3319yards, par 36 for men, 2814, par 38 for Ladies;
- The Bishops Course 3532, par 36, 2796, par 36;
- The Cathedral Course 2898, par 34,2449 par 35.
There is always a course of the day and a spare playing 9.
A dress code is operated on the course and in the Clubhouse.
On course, soft spikes are obligatory (we offer a spike change facility). Long tailored shorts with sports socks can be worn and shirts must have collars and should be tucked in on the course.
Spikes and caps are not permitted in the bar.
Currently Visitors to The Ramside do not have to produce a handicap certificate except when playing in any of our Opens. However we do expect our visitors to have Golf Knowledge and to observe Golf Etiquette at all times
